Robin Kirby

We’re excited to introduce our latest feature artist: Robin Kirby

Born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Robin Kirby studied clay at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and in the Professional Crafts Department at Haywood Community College. Since 2005, she has been creating pottery from her home studio in Saluda, NC.

Robin has been a proud member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild since 2010. Her work focuses on functional pottery designed for everyday home use, infused with creative and decorative interpretations that reflect her artistic style.

Alongside her studio practice, Robin is passionate about teaching and sharing her love of clay with others. Since 2012, she has taught adult pottery classes through the Continuing Education Department at Blue Ridge Community College.
