Alice Scott
Alice Scott is a jeweler based in Asheville, North Carolina. She began making jewelry at the age of six, painting pumpkin-faced brooches to sell at Halloween craft shows. From an early age, she was constantly imagining new designs, and jewelry became her primary way of engaging with the world.
She studied Jewelry and Metalsmithing at the Rhode Island School of Design, where she refined both her technical skills and her conceptual approach to adornment. Today, her work continues to grow from a lifelong interest in objects that carry meaning, memory, and ritual.
Scott’s jewelry celebrates tradition while reimagining it. Drawing from a wide range of spiritual and cultural practices, she borrows symbols to create her own world of sacred objects. Each piece is intended to function as a talisman, helping the wearer feel connected to something mysterious, ancient, and larger than herself.
